CNCC from Hongkong

CNCC from Hongkong is a Certificate issued by the Hong Kong Police certifying that a person has no criminal record during his stay in the Hong Kong. This Certificate may be required if you are applying for permanent residency or citizenship in any country including Canadian PR, Work Permit in Canada, Australian PR, Australian Work Permit or Immigration to UK.

The Police clearance certificate is also known as PCC or CNCC Hongkong. The term CNCC means Certificate of No Criminal Conviction which is the same as Police Clearance Certificate.

You need to bring a photocopy of front and last page of your current passport and a photocopy of your Hong Kong Identity Card or any other valid travel document. The Hong Kong police does not mail the report to the applicant or any other third party authorised by the applicant. They would send the report directly at the postal address of the Immigration authority or the relevant consulate.  This address should be written on the letter you had provided of the Immigration Authority or the Government Authority or the relevant consulate.

After the receipt of all the documents, it takes about a month for the Hong Kong Police to issue the clearance report. The CNCC will be issued by the Hong Kong police only if you have no criminal conviction data.
