What Information do we collect?

In order to provide you the fingerprinting services and to process the applications for immigration, visa, medical licence, criminal background check we require the personal information of the applicant which may includes full name, date of birth, place of birth, gender, contact number, proof of identity, fingerprint’s and other information depending on the services availed. To ensure the accuracy of Police clearance certificate (PCC) and Criminal history search, we may also record the information collected from the documents voluntarily presented by the applicant for identity verification and availing our services.

Why do we collect such information?

We collect your personal information for the pur­pose of sub­mit­ting it to the law enforce­ment author­i­ties, and/or their des­ig­nated agents to enable them to con­duct crim­i­nal his­tory searches. By pro­vid­ing per­sonal infor­ma­tion you have auto­mat­i­cally given con­sent toIFSI to use that infor­ma­tion for the pur­pose stated within that request.

How such information is maintained?

The secu­rity of per­sonal infor­ma­tion is an utmost priority ofIFSI. IFSI stores and main­tains per­sonal infor­ma­tion in com­pli­ance with the require­ments of the existing laws. The appro­pri­ate mea­sures have been made to pro­tect the pri­vacy and integrity of your per­sonal information.

Disclosure and sharing of such information

IFSI does not pro­vide third party access to your per­sonal infor­ma­tion except when con­sentedby you or allowed by you at the time of sub­mit­ting your application. It is clarified that IFSI does not receive the copy of the results of your application. We may avail the services of authorized third party to assist and to process your application and to transmit information to process your application. In such situation we may transmit or disclose your information to the authorized third party service provider.

We may retain your Personal Information for as long as you are availing our services. We may continue to retain such Personal Information even after availed and/or cease to use any particular Service, as reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, to enforce our agreements and/or to protect our legitimate interests.

We may disclose or otherwise allow others access to your Personal Information pursuant to a legal request in compliance with applicable laws, if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so, with or without notice to you. We may also disclose such information when it has become necessary to establish or collect fees or if the information is already in public domain.
